Alternative to the North Coast 500

Every year one of the trips I look forward to most is our family motorhome adventure. Each year we try a different part of Scotland to explore and have never been disappointed yet. This latest adventure was a little different as we chose not to follow the much vaunted North Coast 500 driving route, which is straining under the pressure of too many campervans in parts.

Instead we studiously avoided the NC500 as we blazed our own trail, the McKelvie NC245 if you like! It proved one of our best adventures yet and I’m delighted to be able to share it with you in MMM motorhome magazine. It was quite some trip with leaping dolphins, hulking castles and epic beaches just some of the stars.
