Writing for Glasgow’s Clydeside Distillery

2

I’m delighted to be writing online articles for the exciting new distillery that has started production right in the heart of Scotland’s largest city.

If you love whisky, or even if you are just interested in the industrial and shipbuilding story of the Second City of Empire, this really is now a must on the Glasgow tourist trail. Of course, it is brilliant for whisky connoisseurs, but as you will realise when you read my articles there is plenty for everyone from a superb cafe (the tasting platter is epic!) and well stocked shop full of some of Scotland’s finest whiskies. The distillery tour is great fun too and they also host exclusive events, so there is plenty for you to get excited about and for me to write about.

Just click on the articles below and they will open automatically. I would love to hear what you think of the articles and also any ideas or aspects of the distillery you want to hear more about in future articles. Slainte!

  1. Looking forward to your articles. I was brought up in Glasgow. During my apprenticeship in the early 1960’s, along with a journeyman, I used to work on ship’s engine repairs on boats docked at the quay where the distillery is located.

    • Love the connection Jim. A distillery with the real Clydebuilt heritage. Have had a wee taste of the new make and I reckon the final Scotch will be a fitting legacy of those days. You must get along and pop on a tour, delves into the past of the place as well as whisky. Slainte!
